North Carolina Museum of Art is a state Demo, This is a Free Event,The barony of Windmaster’s Hill has been asked to support NCMA medieval Days. In Doing so a “Day of Tournament” has been declared. Participation by all is welcome. There will be three areas of focus; First, a central fighting list field that becomes the center of a Town Square village. Encircling the List field will be Fiber Arts, Living History, Armor through the Ages, Glass beadwork, Working metal forge, Medieval Dance, Comedia performances. The Site opens at 9 AM Sunday 31 May 2020 and closes 5 PM 31 May 2020. Activities begin at 11:00 AM and run through the day. See schedule.

Site:Site is the North Carolina Museum of Art located at: 2110 Blue Ridge Rd, Raleigh, NC 27607
Site Restrictions:Steel Swords- Whether edged or dull MUST be contained in a scabbard and not have a naked edge. Further we must secure them with a leather or nylon cord to prevent the accidental removal of the item. Participants/performers (SCA) are bound by this rule. Event go-ers will not be allowed to carry them into the NCMA grounds. Security will expect us to enforce the rules for our folks accordingly. Axes therefore, unless in a sheath, are not authorized. Arrows can never be “knocked” and must be secured away from the general public. This is a State Museum and although alcohol is sold and consumed on the premises, event personnel are restricted from doing so.
