Welcome to the Seneschal’s page for the Kingdom of Atlantia!
The seneschal is the chief administrative officer of an SCA recognized branch, whose primary responsibility is the smooth operation of the branch. The seneschal typically runs the local meetings, and administers the operation of the branch, reporting on branch activities as required to the other officers of the kingdom. More simply, they become the branch's representative to the outside world, both modern and SCA.
These pages contain access to all the information a seneschal should need to smoothly run his or her local branch. If a branch seneschal has any questions or problems, contact the regional seneschal immediately for assistance. Specific questions relating to issues listed on the left, such as Media Relations or New Branches, are better directed to the Kingdom deputy for that topic (see the bar to the left for the Kingdom Deputies and their respective spheres of influence). For general questions about the SCA, try the SCA, Inc. tab above.

Attention to all Knight's Marshals and Seneschals:
As a reminder, each group (no exceptions!) is required to report on a quarterly basis whether or not any martial activity waivers were signed. There is now a new web form to simplify this process.
Please use this form (http://goo.gl/forms/fOnhNyoZfN) on a quarterly basis to report to the Waiver Secretary whether or not you conducted any non-event, waiver-required martial activities (everything except Thrown Weapons or Combat Archery) in that quarter, and whether waivers were signed. Any signed waivers must still be mailed to the Waiver Secretary in hardcopy, but otherwise your form submission will serve as the signed cover sheet.

Office of the Seneschal - Media Relations
This site is designed to give the Seneschals and general populace of Atlantia an idea as to why the Office of Media Relations has been created, what purpose it serves, and what services it can render.
The Office of Media Relations is responsible for assisting local and regional groups in presenting factual information and a positive image to any organized news media group as defined in the Society Seneschal's "Media Relations and External Publicity" Policy (Appendix 1, Section 1). The information presented should be written, designed, and produced in a manner consistent with efforts commonly received by the media from other large, not-for-profit organizations.
Use the links at the top of this page to find the answers to any questions you may have concerning the Office of Media Relations and its function within the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc.
