Enjoy mayhem, merriment, and fun as Lochmere will be surprised by the Spanish Inquisition arriving in January 2016! There will be performances, arts, fun, frivoloty, and feasting. Come and enjoy!

Arts & Sciences Activities:  Competitions:

There will be at two competitions and an open display :
embroidered pillow competition, preferably in the Spanish style
Any arts and sciences from 1500s Spain.
Open Display

Each competition above competitions will have a novice winner and an overall winner. There is a rumor of a another competition in the works to be sponsored by an individual in the barony ...

Bardic:
A bardic competition will be held during this event

Classes:
There are plans for classes to be held as well. These are to be announced.

Commedia del Arte:
It is rumored there may be roving inquisitors questioning volunteers among the populace throughout the day. A prize will be given to the best questionee at court.

Site:  Columbian Center 335 Governor Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146-1908 Site opens at 9am, and closes at 9pm

Site Restrictions:  NO pets except service animals allowed. (no goats). Site is handicap accessible, and is wet.

Feast Information:  A glorious (and well researched) feast will be served by the talented Lady Lisette la Roux. Feast space is limited to about 80 seats, so please register early. Please contact her with any dietary concerns/questions.

Merchanting Information:  An 8’x8’ space will be provided to merchants at a cost of $5, which includes a table. Lists of merchants will be posted to the website closer to the event. Other Information:  The bag game will be played throughout the day. A prize will be given to the one with the most valuable objects by day’s end. Updated event information will be posted to Lochmere\'s website.

From the North:

Make your best way to the MD100 and MD2 interchange. Take MD2 south. In roughly 2.5 miles, make a U-turn at Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd/Whites Road (MD648). Destination will be on your right.

From the South:

Make your best way to I97 North. Take the exit for Benfield Blvd. and head east for about 3.7 miles. Continue on the leftward fork in the road past Severna Park High School, where the road changes name to Robinson Rd. Turn left onto MD2 North. in about 0.7miles the destination will be on the right.
