Every branch in Atlantia, regardless of size, is strongly advised to maintain a warranted Chatelain(e), Hospitaller, or Castellan for their branch to assist in new member recruitment, education, acclimatization and retention. Chatelains are expected to assist the seneschal regarding the media, promotional demonstrations (demos), and educational programs for new members.
The term Chatelain shall be used to refer to both male and female officers in law and policy. In this document, the term Chatelain shall also refer to Hospitaller and Castellan.
By the Grace of Their Majesties of Atlantia, Michael and Seonaid, this is the updated Atlantian Book of Policy, being a compilation of the Policies of the Great Officers of State of the Kingdom of Atlantia. A Minister of the List (MoL) is someone who helps organize, complete, and maintain the paperwork needed to track fighters’ authorizations and run combat scenarios at events. They are the people sitting at the table on the side of the list field signing in combatants, checking authorization cards, recording authorizations, and filling out all those lovely forms necessary to keep fighting in Atlantia running smoothly.

The Atlantian Pages Academy is an educational program for the youth of Atlantia, ages 5-17. The program is meant to foster and provide Atlantian youth with the opportunity to attain skills and knowledge of the Middle Ages and the Society for Creative Anachronism. The program teaches chivalry, honor, responsibility, courtesy, leadership and history. It also provides ideas and opportunities for young people to serve Atlantia and their local groups.
Classes, activities, service opportunities and competitions for Pages and other young people are held at various events throughout the year. See our calendar for specific information about what’s coming up!

The seneschal is the chief administrative officer of an SCA recognized branch, whose primary responsibility is the smooth operation of the branch. The seneschal typically runs the local meetings, and administers the operation of the branch, reporting on branch activities as required to the other officers of the kingdom. More simply, they become the branch's representative to the outside world, both modern and SCA.
