Description:
It has been a year since Draong the dragon’s hatchlings made their appearance, much to the delight of the populace. In this time, they have grown strong and playful. Alas, it is time to leave the nest to begin their education. Help us welcome them to Skyweaver Training Grounds. Young dragons must learn all manner of skills - martial abilities, arts, sciences, and flight. We encourage you to be a part of this rich experience.

General Activities
Martial Activities:
Dragons must learn to show their power in many ways. Martial activities will train them to be strong, agile, and think on their feet.
To rein in youthful energy and guide our young hatchlings
“Professor” Master Alwin of Nottinghill Coill will head up Armored combat
“Coach” Theron Danielsen will lead Youth combat
Sir Aelfred of Cres will be our Rapier Marshal for the Day.
Honing targeting skills with thrown weapons is essential to survival. Our Thrown Weapons Marshal Snorri will take on this task.
As a bonus, there will be a special flight school activity! The fledgling flight school is open to all comers. We are asking folks to bring their favorite dragon stuffy of no more than 5lbs to be thrown/launched in a game. The plan is to have a small trebuchet to launch them into "flight" and see how far they can go or how close to the center of a target they can reach.
A&S:
No civilized dragon’s education is complete without a wide variety of knowledge. To encourage our charges, we will be holding several competitions.
A dragon in any medium. Show off your skill and love of these beautiful creatures.
A dragon must learn to appreciate the finer things in life. A brewing competition will show off that certain something that makes treasures worth waiting for.
Because they are too young to drink yet, another, non-alcoholic brewing competition will be held. This may include such liquid gold as vinegars, shrubs, and teas for example.
Viktor, our Baronial Brewing Champion will also be hosting the Baronial Brewing Champion competition. Requirements: Bring two drinks - 1. Your Best Brew and 2. A non-alcoholic Brew (so the outgoing champion can taste it).
To further inspire our hatchlings, an area for displays will be set up in the hall. Are you excited about a project? Do you want to show off a work in progress? Please, bring it and share your skill.
Encouragement is key whether young or young at heart. Gatherings will be planned throughout the day to inspire connections and support. We learn and grow best by listening, doing, and teaching.
Feast:
There will be a dragon-inspired potluck for lunch in the Training Grounds “Cafeteria”. Bring your favorites to share.
Silver/White - cold or icy
Gold/Red - spicy
Copper/Blue - fried or hot
Brass/Green - veggies
Bronze/Black - drink
Please remember to include a list of ingredients to avoid food allergies/sensitivities.
Merchants:
Merchants welcome! No fee. Please contact Bagum Haddassah/Haddassah the Lost at ASL_Auntie@zoho.com or text 304-553-8014 to secure your spot on Merchant’s Row.
