Directions:
From the North via I-95S: In Nashville, NC, take exit 138 to
merge onto I-87/US-64W. Travel 45 miles. Use the left two lanes to
take the I-87 S/I-440E exit toward I-40/US-64 W/Durham/Benson. Travel .8
miles and merge onto I-440E/I-87/US-64 W and travel 2.6 miles. US-64W
turns slightly right and becomes I-40/US-64W. Travel 3.5 miles and take
the exist towards Lake Wheeler Road. Travel 9 miles on Lake Wheeler Road,
then turn right on Optimist Farm Road. Site will be on your right.
From the South via I-95N: In Benson, NC, take exit 81
to merge onto I40W toward Raleigh. Use the left two lanes to take the
ramp onto I-40. Take exit 312 toward NC-42W. Use the right lane to take
the exist toward NC -42W. Keep left at the fork to continue to
NC-42W. Continue straight on NC-42W for .5 miles, then turn right onto
Cleveland Road. Turn right on NC-50N after 3.5 miles. Travel 7.1
miles and turn left on Ten-Ten Road. After 1 miles, turn left onto
Johnson Pond Road. Travel .4 miles and turn right onto Optimist Farm
Road. Site will be on your right.
From the East via US-70W: In Smithfield, NC, take exit
337 towards US-70 Business. travel 5.4 miles and turn left onto
NC-210W. Travel 13.7 miles on Cleveland School Road. Travel 7.1
miles and turn left on Ten-Ten Road. After 1 miles, turn left onto
Johnson Pond Road. Travel .4 miles and turn right onto Optimist Farm
Road. Site will be on your right.
From the West via I-40E: In Raleigh, NC, take exit 295 for
Gorman Street. After .3 miles, use the right lane to take the ramp to
Tryon Road. After 8.9 miles, merge onto Gorman Street. Travel 1.2
miles and use the left two lanes to merge onto Tryon Road. Travel 5.5
miles and turn right onto Lake Wheeler Road. Continue straight 1.1 miles to
stay on Lake Wheeler Road. Turn right onto Optimist Farms Road. Site will
be on your right.
Restrictions:
This is a primitive site with grass and gravel. No ground fires or firepits are allowed. Fires will be in the central firepit, or in a firebowl on stone or gravel base. Bricks can be used for this purpose. Pets must be leashed and picked up after. Only service animals are allowed in the building. There is no trash disposal on site. Gentles are asked to take their trash with them when they leave.

This is a primitive site with grass and gravel.
Handicap parking will be available. All buildings on site are single
floor. There is a single step to access the gazebo. 50% of the porta potties
contracted for will be ADA compliant. If you have any additional questions or

Description:
This is a multidisciplinary War Camp
involving Armored Combat (including Combat Archery), Rapier,
Archery, and Arts & Sciences. The theme will be the MesoAmerica pre 1600! The martial goal is to promote individual and team growth
through emphasis on non-Peers in leadership positions.
The A&S display is to promote improved camp appearances and
function. There will be an intense quest for our younger attendees based on the
theme of the day. Day board by House Fait Accompli is provided, with donations accepted. The dayboard will be served on Saturday morning, mid Saturday afternoon after fighting and archery have finished, and a brunch late Sunday morning. There is no feast.

To clarify the fee structure, Gentles day tripping will pay the Day Trip Fee only. Those camping will pay the additional $10 per tent. Event Reservation Cancellations and Refunds; Event refunds will be provided as follows: i. Refunds may be requested for the following 1. Site Reservation 2. Camping Reservation Cancellations received at least 7 days prior to the start of the event will be refunded once the funds have cleared and may be processed at the Exchequer's earliest convenience regardless of the profit or loss of the event. No refunds will be given if the event does not make a profit in accordance with Baronial Financial Policy. No refunds will be given to those who have checked in with

General Activities
Martial Activities:
Armored Combat (including Combat Archery): Saturday: Warlord Tourney that will culminate in a variety of melee scenarios limited only by the imagination of Lord Kalfr. The only limitations is that Martial Peers may not assume command positions. Rapier will focus on Cut and Thrust with tourney format to be announced. There will be both Combat Archery and Target Archery. Lady Jenny Trent is our Archery MIC and has a variety of scenarios in the works, to include castle shoot, and others. There will also be Thrown Weapons. More information will be on the Event Website. Sunday: Melee practice with a variety of scenarios including bridge, field, and anything else our MIC can think of!
A&S:
Display of methods of making camp look more authentic, either to your persona, SCA Period, or both. Includes efforts at making 21st century items look less 21st century. Displays will be in Camp and the Hall. There will also be a Bardic Circle on Saturday evening.
