Welcome one and all! Join us August 7, 2021 as the Barony of Stierbach celebrates its 23rd birthday with the Festival of the Charging Bull! A bustling carnival honoring our great Barony and the camaraderie and courage of its populace.

| Arts & Sciences: | Baronial Birthday A&S Competitions and Display! Baronial scroll blanks competition- the barony needs your scroll blanks! Please craft scroll blanks using the guidelines in the Baronial Scribal Handbook. Please leave enough space for calligraphy and award medallion. There will be a judged prize for Best Scroll and Most Scrolls My Little Plague Horde open display- show us what hijinks you were up to during the Plague! Did you learn a new skill or hone a hobby? We want to see your work! Craft a Medieval Mask Competition- Will you inhabit a character from commedia or build your own design from period sources? Will your design cover your whole face, eyes, head, or more? Masks can be as simple or elaborate as you desire. We've been masked for so long, time to make it historical! Your mask can be functional or decorative. They can be taken from religious festivals, utilitarian use, protective gear; there are many possibilities on what constitutes a mask! Unsure of what qualifies? Reach out to me! Masks must have documentation that will be left at the A&S table for judging (EZ doc is fine!). Judging for masks will be done by a combination of popular vote and judges choice. Masks can be worn by the creator to enjoy merriment or left on the judging table for consideration.
