Hidden Mountain
Though the days be yet long and very warm, our most excellent Prince and Princess have taken thought for the needs of our kingdom when the winds blow chill and the leaves are no longer green.
Therefore have They issued a call for the fighters of Atlantia to meet in the Barony of Hidden Mountain that they may display their honor and their prowess in a grand tourney as they vie for the privilege of serving as Prince and Princess of this realm until such time as the Crown itself shall pass into their hands.

Fighting: Crown Tourney will be the main martial activity of the day. For full details on that tourney see the Crown Tourney section of the event website.
In addition, by royal command all youth fighters of Atlantia are invited to participate in a Grand Youth Tourney to be held on the morning of Saturday, November 2, at the site of Crown Tourney.
All youth fighters are encouraged to come forth in their best field garb and armor with all the heraldic panoply they can to do honor to their inspiration in the presence of the Crown.
Prior to the tourney there will be a formal procession of the combatants and their inspirations appropriately heralded into the lists so all may be aware of the identities of all fighters and those who inspire them. (Heralds will be provided for those who do not already have them.)
Arts & Sciences: The kingdom-sponsored Tempore Atlantia for the period 1000-1350 will be held at Crown Tourney.
This prize is for “Best in Showâ€. Any item from any culture may be entered, but the inspiration must date from between 1000 to 1350 A.D.
Documentation is required. There will also be a display only space provided.
In addition, individually sponsored competitions reflecting the event's theme of sixteenth century Germany are planned.

Feast: All those attending Crown Tourney are invited on Saturday morning to partake in a buffet brunch in honor of the consorts being fought for in Crown.
This brunch is being offered at no cost to the populace in the tradition of Southern hospitality to welcome you to the Barony of Hidden Mountain and thank you for coming to bear witness to this historic occasion.
In addition, a memorable feast of German dishes will be set forth with all ceremony in the evening. Cost for this feast will be only $10 per seat for either adults or youth.
Both the brunch and feast are under the auspices of the team of Three Barons Catering with whom many are familiar from fabulous feasts not only in Hidden Mountain and Tear-Sea's Shore but throughout a number of groups in southern Atlantia.
For those with allergies (or just pure curiosity) menus and ingredient lists will be available in the Food section of the event website in the not too distant future.
Merchanting: Those wishing to merchant at Crown should contact the Event Steward at their earliest convenience.
A list of anticipated merchants will appear on the event website shortly after Coronation.

Cost Notes: Camping prices above are per bed for cabin camping.

Site: The site is the beautiful Sandy Ridge Girl Scout Camp near Bennettsville, South Carolina.
The address of the site is 3681 Girlscout Road, Bennettsville, SC29512. This address works well with many GPS systems, though not all.
Site amenities include a large feast and gathering hall immediately adjacent to the tourney field, heated and air conditioned cabins and limited space for tent camping in several areas of the camp. All buildings are handicapped accessible though some portions of the camp are uneven or have steep slopes which may offer challenges to the mobility impaired.
For those daytripping or staying offsite, shower, toilet, and changing facilities will be available immediately adjacent to the troll area to allow refreshment from the road or after the tourneys on Saturday.
Site Restrictions: This is a Girl Scout camp which follows the general rules for such sites: no alcohol, no pets (service animals permitted), and absolutely no smoking in or near any building.

From the South:
Take I-95 to exit 181B to Bennettsville, SC. Follow State Road 38 through Bennettsville and merge onto State Road 9 heading towards Cheraw. Turn right onto Ebenezer Road off of State Road 9 and follow the road for three plus miles to Girlscout Road and the Sandy Ridge camp sign.
From the North:
Via Bennettsville:
Take the best route towards Bennettsville, SC. If heading towards Bennettsville on I-95, take exit 181B and follow the directions as from the South.
Via Cheraw:
If following Highway 52, go to Cheraw, SC and then turn onto State Road 9 heading towards Bennettsville, SC. Follow State Road 9 until you get to Ebenezer Road. Turn onto Ebenezer Road and follow the road for three plus miles to Girlscout Road and the Sandy Ridge camp sign.
