Description: Who speaks the truth? Who is the spy? Are the traitors the Barony of Raven's Cove and their allies? Or is it the Barony of Hawkwood and theirs? There are chickens running amock down the King's highway in the West and ravens disappearing on the Queen's highay in the East.

Martial Activities: The marshal field is open for pick ups on Wednesday. Tournaments starting on Thursday and Friday. Additional battles and melees on Saturday. Heavy and rapier fighting. Steel fighting demo on Saturday. See the events website for specifics and schedules.

Cost Notes: Paypal registration is availabe but closes October 1st, 2019. Only those who are pre-registered will recieve a land allowance.

Site: Elchenburg Castle, 2239 Center Road, Boonville, NC 27011. Opens noon 15 October, closes noon 20 October.

Site Restrictions: This is a wet site, modern laws concerning alcohol apply. Pets are allowed but must be controlled at all times and policed. This is a Primitive Camping Site, folks with significant mobility challenges or who need access to electricity should contact the Disabilities Coordinator to determine if the site will be appropriate for them. Ground fires and sumps are allowed but must be filled in and coals, rocks, remains of wood, burnt and unburnt, removed to the trees. Fire Extinguishers are required for ground fires. Any violation is cause for being removed from the site.

Directions: From the North: Take your best route to I-77. Just South of Elkin, North Carolina, take Exit 82 onto NC-67 East bound. On NC-67, travel for � mile straight through the round-about and turn right on Messick Road. Go South on Messick Road for 1.7 miles where it tees into Center Road. Turn left on Center Road (East bound) for 5.8 miles. The site will be on the right, with a sign for Elchenburg Castle out front. From the South: Make your best route to I77, travel north to exit 73B-A Hwy 421S (to Winston- Salem/Yadkinville), go 2 miles to exit 263 Hwy 21N turn left, go 2/10 of a mile turn right on Old Highway 421 (by the Dollar Tree), go 2.7 miles and turn left on Cox Mill Rd, go 1.5 miles and ver left onto Center Rd, go 1.9 miles and turn left into Elkenburg Castle Campground.
