Restrictions:
Fires in fire pits only, above ground, contained. Pets must be on a leash at all times. This is a wet site.
Accessibility:
Site is ADA compliant. Terrain is generally grassy, can tend to be muddy if it rains a lot. However, site also drains well during wet weather. We have never had report of issues at this site for those with mobility issues.

Description:
Come join the Barony of Raven's Cove as we celebrate the Yuletide Season, as well as welcome new baronage! There will be a luncheon in dayboard fashion that will take the place of feast, which is included in the site fee. We will have Arts and Science displays, armored and rapier fighting, as well as archery and thrown weapons. Come and join us in the Tudor Court, as we celebrate the ending of the winter and look forward to the longer days of Spring!

Tudor time period is 1485-1603, starting with the reign of Henry VII and ending with the reign of Elizabeth I. The Tudors were of Welsh origin and ascended the English throne after Henry Tudor (eventually Henry VII) defeated Richard III at the Battle of Bosworth Field in 1485. Between 1485 and 1603, there were three kings and two queens regnant – Henry VII, Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary I, and Elizabeth I.
A&S Activities
Tudor Christmas baked goods, including a category for minced pies (at a minimum EZ doc requested, judged using the “Cooking – single dish” or “Cooking-subtleties” criteria)
Brewing, with a specific category for wassail punches (at a minimum EZ doc requested, judged using the "Brewing” criteria).
Dirty dozen largesse for the new baronage with the overarching idea being the Welsh Yule/New Year custom of calennig (small gifts/tokens), and the “theme” being Raven’s Cove (colors, the raven, etc.) (judged by popular vote, documentation encouraged)
Best depiction of a Yule log, any medium (judged by popular vote, documentation encouraged).

Feast:
Celebrate the Yule season with a small buffet-style Lunch Feast fit for Tudor Royalty. We will have Beef Y-Stywyd, Fritters of Spinnedge, Olive and Caper Salad, Maids of Honour, Marchpane, Marinated Oranges, and a Parmesan/Pomegranate cheeseboard.
