On Saturday, June 14 for the in-person event: From I-95, take US-58 E to Suffolk, then take the US-13 N ramp to I-264 E/I-64/Portsmouth/Norfolk/VA Beach. Take exit 15B for I-64 toward Chesapeake/VA Beach. Continue onto I-64 W for 13 miles, then take exit 286A for Indian River Rd West. Merge onto Indian River Rd and continue until you reach US-13 S/N Military Hwy. Use the 2nd from the right lane to turn right onto US-13 S/N Military Hwy, then make a left at Drift Tide Drive and an immediate left onto the frontage road that leads to CVUU.
From Richmond/Williamsburg, follow I-64 E to US-13 S/N Military Hwy in Norfolk. Use the 2nd from the right lane to take exit 284A for I-264 W toward Norfolk. Keep right to continue on Exit 13A, follow signs for US-13 S/Military Hwy and merge onto US-13 S/N Military Hwy. Continue on US-13 S/N Military Hwy for 1.7 miles, then turn right at Drift Tide Drive and make an immediate left onto the frontage road that leads to CVUU.

Saturday in-person: No live steel combat. Peace tied/ceremonial weapons ok. Alcohol consumption by ages 21+ allowed, no alcohol sales permitted.
Sunday On-Line: Participants are expected to abide by SCA policies on personal conduct.

Join us for the summer session of University of Atlantia back where it all began… in the Barony of Marinus! The University of Atlantia celebrates its 45th year with the very first host group with a day of in-person learning on Saturday and online classes on Sunday.
Pre-registration for classes will close June 12. Once registration is closed, changes can only be made for attendees at the in-person session on the day of the event. Online registration cannot be changed after the deadline until there is a cancellation.

There is no event fee charged for attending the University of Atlantia. It is funded by donations and the sale of merchandise in our on-site and online bookstores (https://www.bonfire.com/store/university-of-atlantia-bookstore/) PLEASE NOTE: we are only able to accept donations in cash or by check. On the day of the event, checks should be made out to SCA Inc., Barony of Marinus. We are also unable to make change, so please bring smaller bills if you can. Note: if there is a fee for the class, it is paid directly to the instructor.

A fundraiser lunch hosted by the Barony of Caer Mear will be available on site. To participate, you must reserve your meal before the June 6 deadline. The cost is $10 on the day of the event, payable in cash or check to SCA Inc, Barony of Caer Mear. There are also many restaurants within close driving distance: Food/Lodging near CVUU.

Please note that PARKING IS LIMITED. CARPOOL IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. There is an overflow lot nearby at Tidewater Finance Company, 6520 Indian River Road, about a 1/4 mile away on foot. Offload at the main site before parking at the overflow lot.
