Caer Mear
Now the great war between
the Dragon and the Tiger is
done, hearts and minds start
dreaming of cooler days and
glorious evenings filled with
good food and song. Come
now the coronation of Their
Royal Highnesses Abran and
Anya on the first day of
October.
The theme of the reign is 14th
century Spain and The
Camino de Santiago, a
pilgrimage to the Cathedral of
Santiago de Compostela in
Galicia, is the theme of the
day.

Fighting | There will be traditional heavy
fighting led by Duke
Christoph, rapier with Master
Dante, rebated steel with
Duke Anton, archery with Lord
Ivarr Thorgislsson and thrown
weapons with Lady Rose
Eileen Robertson. |
Arts & Sciences: | A&S will be overseen by Dame
Magda z Stalburg. Their
highnesses have requested
"things to bring on a pilgrimage
and hospitality on the way" as
our theme. |
Feast: | After a full day of fighting,
crafting and general
merriment, the evening will be
capped off with a glorious
feast reminiscent of the
infamous "Bacon Wars Feast"
carefully curated by Mistress
Magdalena la Sanguigni.
Please note, there is a cap of
125 pre-registered gentles.

Merchanting: | Merchants are welcome and
encouraged. Please direct
merchanting inquiries to the

Other: | Accessibility: site is 100%
grass (cut short), no paths or
pavement, no electricity,
handicap portajohns will be
provided and handicapped
parking is available.
Camping will be available
from Friday, September 30th
with pack out on Sunday,
October 2nd. There is no
additional fee for camping and
there are no cabins, you must
BYO shelter. |

Take your best route to
Virginia, I-295 just North of
Richmond. Take exit 49A to
US route 33 W. Follow US-
33W for 4.8 miles, then turn
right onto VA route 623 North.
After 0.6 miles, turn left into
the Hanover Vegetable Farm.
