Baronial Bardic Champion
Competition, by Lady Vani
The Winter Holidays are a
time of giving, such is known
to all. But those who are
expectant to receive often find
their minds clouded to the true
purpose of these celebrations.
As Bards are excellent
teachers and reminders of
proper action, the Baronial
Bardic Champion"s Challenge
is thus:
Two pieces in one or more
Bardic Arts of your choice -
The first to tell of Greed,
The second of Giving.
Non-verbal entries should be
accompanied by an
explanation of how they fit this
theme.
All entries should be free from
truly mundane references, but
I am certainly not one able to
condemn period...ish
performance.
Please remember that your
judges are Their Excellencies
Elphin and Delia, not myself.
Note: If you desire to perform
to this theme but not to
compete, please tell me
beforehand and I will discuss
with Their Excellencies how
They wish to proceed.
