Directions:
From 301 turn onto route 6 heading east. Turn onto
left onto 425, until it merges with route 6. Turn left
onto route 6 south and follow until you see a left
onto route 224 or Riverside Road. Continue until you
see Camp Merrick Gate on the left.
Restrictions:
None! If you bring dogs please clean up after your pet
Accessibility:
Camp Merrick site is fully accessible and Ada
compliant, including accessible cabins, bathrooms,
and dining facilities. The terrain is mostly flat grassy
fields, and paved sidewalks, with gravel roads
following to the cabins. The only steep terrain leads
to the pier and firepit. Cabins are rustic but modern
with their own bathroom and handicap accessible
facilities. Service animal friendly.

festival of Saturnalia. Come cheer on the gladiatorial
fighters, our beautiful artisans in the craft hall, a
bountiful Mediterranean feast, with much revelry
included!

Refund Policy:
If a person has paid for a Dun Carraig event, but is
unable to attend, they may request a refund, in
writing, from the Barony within 5 days of the event
completion. The Barony may, at its discretion, issue a
full or partial refund. Such decisions will be made on
a case-by-case basis, by a refund committee
consisting of the Exchequer, the Seneschal, and the
event Event Steward.
General Activities
Martial Activities:
The theme of our martial activities is The Gladiatorial
Games.
There will be armored, rapier, target archery, and thrown weapons.
There will be a demonstration of medieval hounds activities, starring SeaDogs Run.
A&S:
Within the celebration of the day, we challenge all artisans to capture the gaze of Minerva through performances, displays and competitions.
The day's offerings will include:1. Make a Tunic in a Day Competition
2. Best Bread and/or Sweets competition
3. Best Story in a Fable Format to honor Aesop's legacy
4. Best Representation of Dun Carraig/ the Mighty SeaDog / Red and White item in any medium
There will also be an Open Display available for gentles who wish to receive commentary on their Arts and Sciences projects.
Feast:
Lady Alexina MacSuibhne will be graciously hosting a
Mesmerizing Mediterranean Banquet. With her skill Dun Carraig is offering a roman gustum course (appetizer) prior to court to the all populace. Following court at feast, there will be 2 magnanimous menzas (course). Please see event
site for further details along with photos of the delectable repast.

The Caffeinated Hedgehog will be making a return Friday Night and Saturday Morning and Night!
The Seadog Taberena is opening Friday night and after feast Saturday night for a wonderfully magical celebration of Saturn with games, full mugs, and merriment!
