The Fall University of Atlantia will take place September 20 (in-person) and September 21 (online).
Saturday:
The Canton of Seven Hills will be our host at Linkhorne Middle School at 2525 Linkhorne Drive, Lynchburg, VA 24503.
Schedule:
8:00 AM - Site open for staff and setup
9:00 AM - Gate and University Registration open to public
10:00 AM - Morning classes begin
11:50 AM - Morning classes end
12:00 PM - Lunch
1:00 PM - Convocation
1:30 PM - Afternoon classes begin
5:20 PM - Afternoon classes end
6:00 PM – Site closes
Track proposals are due by midnight on Wednesday, August 13. Class proposals are due by midnight on Tuesday, August 19.
Student pre-registration for classes opens on Monday, September 1 and ends at midnight on Wednesday, September 17. In-person students may register for classes on the day of the event or make changes to their pre-registered schedule. In-person registration depends on availability of space in selected class. If there is a fee for the class, it is paid directly to the instructor.
There will be an option to purchase lunch on site. All profits will benefit this session of the University of Atlantia. Details will be announced soon.
Merchants are welcome but should confirm with the Event Steward. The University of Atlantia Bookstore will be present. The bookstore can only accept cash or checks made out to SCA/Canton of Seven Hills.
Sunday:
The online University of Atlantia is a Zoom meeting room that we call the Great Hall. All classes take place in named breakout rooms except when an instructor elects to use their own video meeting platform. The link to the Great Hall is provided a day or two in advance in the student and instructor scheduling emails. Where an instructor is using a platform outside of the University provided room, that will also be in the email.
Online students must be pre-registered by the deadline at midnight on Wednesday, September 17. Due to the volume of activity in the Great Room, the University staff cannot make alterations for individual students. The exception is if a class is cancelled, the staff will be able to assign the student to another class, if desired.
All class times listed in the catalog are for EASTERN TIME regardless of the participant’s location. If you are not located in the eastern US time zone, please use a converter app to ensure you are neither too late nor too early for your class.

There is no event registration or fee for the University of Atlantia. All are welcome to participate. However, we do ask for donations to help cover our expenses. Donations can be made in cash or by check to SCA/Canton of Seven Hills. If you cannot afford a donation, please come anyway.
All attendees MUST check in at the Gate in order to check membership status. If you are not a member, you will be asked to sign a waiver.
