Hannibal"s Crossing - Follow Hannibal"s journey from Carthage to invade the Roman Republic during the Second Punic War. Combat will interleave Armored and Rapier scenarios. Archery and Arts & Sciences points will be added to help your team win the war.

Registration will close Tuesday, September 21 at midnight.

Cancellation policy: If you cannot attend or if we are forced to cancel the event, you can request a refund. Refunds will be made after the event. Please log in to SCA-RS to cancel AND contact the Reservationist.

Early pre-registration discount $2 per adult ($13 for member pre-reg.) Family cap for two adult members plus more than two youths is $ 40; for two adult non-members plus more than two youths it is $ 50. Youths under 18 attending without their parent or legal guardian must have a signed medical waiver assigned to an adult attendee.



Site:Patuxent River Park, Pavilion area, 16000 Croom Airport Rd, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772
Site will open Friday Sept 24 at 5pm and close Sunday Sept 26 at noon. There are restaurants (mostly fast-food) and a grocery store within driving distance.

Site Restrictions:


Pets must be on leash at all times. Please clean up after your pet. Fires in site"s fire-rings or fire-bowls only; some wood will be provided. Alcohol is allowed; please use period containers. Please separate trash and recycling and dispose in dumpster and recycling bin.
-  Masks must be worn when social distancing is not possible
-  Increased spacing between groups and activities
- Reduce close contact activities
- No gatherings inside the barn
- Restrict seating to same mundane households per table
- Park staff will periodically check on the rental to make sure covid policies are enforced
- Encourage eligible attendees to be vaccinated
- Encourage attendees to take a covid-19 test three days before your event
- Discourage anyone and their household from attending the event if they are feeling sick or have been exposed to a positive case of COVID-19 within the past 14 days

Directions:
From the Capital Beltway, I-495 either direction. EXIT 11A Rt. 4 South/East toward UPPER MARLBORO. Exit right on Old Crain Hwy. Take the ramp toward US-301/ WALDORF (south). Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto OLD CRAIN HWY. Turn LEFT onto CROOM RD. At Park sign, turn LEFT onto CROOM AIRPORT RD. (Note: While on Croom Airport Rd. do NOT turn left at any point.) The park will be at the end of the road on the right. Enter the gate and park on the left.
