This is a modern fairground site with a combination of paved paths, gravel paths, and grass, with one hill on the gravel path. Prepare for the Anglo Saxon Blodmonath or "Blood Month" which is the month before Yule. Gentles will be required to showcase their skills in preparation, survival, and hunting skills if they wish to survival a brutal winter. A&S competitions will include food preparation displays, a day board competition and a dirty dozen largesse competition. Martial will utilize simple bear pit competitions and celebrating the hunt in order to satisfy the Excellencies of Stierbach with their strength and prowess. Do you have what it takes to survive the season! Join our merchants at they sell their valuable wares and be prepared for the Blood Month!

REFUNDS: For events sponsored by the Barony, Event Refunds shall be provided as follows: Site or NMR fees will be refunded if a request for cancellation is received before the event registration closes. The Exchequer must receive refund requests in writing (email is acceptable). All refunds shall be paid by check from the Barony of Stierbach checking account. No refund shall be issued until the event books have been closed and all reservation checks have cleared. No refund shall be issued if the event has not made a profit. This policy may be waived by unanimous vote of the Baronial Financial Committee in cases of event cancellation or other extreme circumstances, provided that such action does not put the Barony in financial jeopardy.

Stierbach's Holiday Faire is just around the corner. The
Armored Fighting Schedule is as follows....
8am Gate opens
10am Morning court
~10:45 (Immediately following court) Authorizations and
inspections
11:30 Progressive weapons tourney. Triple elimination, starting
with single sword, second life can add a defensive off hand and third life will
allow you to swap to an offensive second hand or great weapon.
~12:30 After the tourney, ~30min to get lunch
1pm Progressive bear pit, multiple pits, which if you can
keep the top pit, will reward the maximum points per attempt. Will plan to run
this for 3 hours unless folks drop early. Aluminum shield blank is the prize
for this bear pit and will the bulk of the fighting.
5pm Court

Master Mors and Mestra Esperanza present - The Lochmere
Arrow Competition 2026. We will be following the Blodmonath theme of Holiday
Faire.
The Lochmere Arrow competition is an annual archery
competition with a 2 person Archery Teams vying to win for their chosen
Official Atlantian group. Teams shoot for their Barony, Shire, Canton, etc.
Teams must shoot for an official Atlantian Group and not a Household. The
winning team wins for the group they were shooting for. Archers must decide
what equipment they are shooting with, and shoot the whole competition with
that weapon type, no mixed shooting. As this traditional annual competition has
been specifically for Archery we are not making targets for Atl Atl, please
plan accordingly.
The Lochmere Arrow Competition Prize: The winning group
earns the right to house and display the coveted physical "Lochmere
Arrow" trophy until the next competition and must put on the Lochmere
Arrow Competition shoot in 2027.
Archery Inspections start at 8:30am, as shooting will start
right after morning Court. Completed score cards will need to be turned in by
2:30pm. At 3:00pm will be the Annual Donation Holiday Faire Turkey Shoot -
Donations to the Turkey Shoot are given to the Stierbach Archery Fund

Competition – Preparing for Winter
As the seasons turn and the chill of winter approaches, all good folk must ready their homes and hearths. This competition invites artisans, cooks, and clever hands of all kinds to showcase their skills in the timeless arts related to winter preparation.
Whether you craft candles to chase away the darkness, preserve the bounty of the harvest, stir hearty soups fit for a cold night, or fashion warm garments to ward off the frost, your work is welcome. Please show us your skills and creativity!
Please deliver your entries before 10:30 am and retrieve them at 3:30 pm. The winner will be determined by a panel of three judges. Prizes TBD.
Competition – The Herd’s Half-Dozen (Largesse)
Pray attend, good gentles of our mighty barony! Gather close and lend your ears, for a call has gone forth across our lands. Our newly invested Baronage begins their noble tenure, and they shall need gifts aplenty to carry honor, gratitude, and goodwill to all corners of the realm.
Thus do we announce a Competition of Largess, where generosity and craftsmanship walk hand in hand!
All artisans, makers, and clever folk are invited to create six items—six tokens of beauty, skill, or usefulness— to be gifted into the Baronage’s coffers. Let your craft speak proudly for your household, your hall, and your heart.
The winner shall be chosen by the voice of the populace. Each voter will receive three beads, to cast as they see fit into the dishes placed by their favored entries—whether all for one or divided among many. Populace voting will be open from 11:00 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon.
The entry with the most beads at the final count at 3:00 pm shall be declared the victor.
The winner will receive one item from each entry!
Feast:
There is NO feast but a pre-registered lunch provided instead at $12 a head (100 slots available).
