From the Washington Beltway, I-495: take I-270 North to Frederick
From the Baltimore Beltway, I-695: take I-70 West to Frederick
Please follow the directions below to access our property from Frederick/Baltimore/DC:
Directions from Frederick/Baltimore/DC:
Take Route 15 North towards Gettysburg and Thurmont (from Washington, I-270, this is not truly an exit; continue straight on I-270, which blends into 15 North). Thurmont is about 15 miles northwest of Frederick.
There are three Thurmont exits; take the second exit, for Route 77. The exit ramp is a very sharp curve and the deceleration lane is short, so take care here. At the stop sign turn RIGHT onto Route 77 West, towards Hagerstown and Smithsburg.
Stay on this windy, climbing road for approximately 2.9 miles, and just after Park Central Road on the right, turn LEFT onto Catoctin Hollow Road. At this point, you are entering Cunningham Falls State Park (William Houck Picnic Area) and you will see the lake on your right, through the trees.
Continue on Catoctin Hollow Road approximately 2.8 miles, pass Wigville Road, and turn RIGHT onto Mink Farm Road.

Take Route 15 South to Thurmont
There are three Thurmont exits; take the second exit, for Route 77. At the stop sign at the bottom of the ramp turn Left onto Route 77 West towards Hagerstown and Smithsburg.

Travel I-70 East toward Frederick and take Exit 42, turning LEFT at the end of the ramp onto MD Rte 17 North towards Myersville.
Follow 0.8 miles and turn right to continue of Rte 17; continue straight at traffic light (Alt. 40)
Stay on 17 North for the next approximately 6 miles, turning RIGHT onto Middlepoint Road.
Continue up this steep steep road (1.8 miles) to where it TEES wth Tower Road, where you will turn LEFT, traveling for approximately 1/2 mile.
Tower makes a hard left BUT you leave Tower at this point by going STRAIGHT which becomes Mink Farm Road, a gravel road.
Restrictions:
This is a one-day event with no camping. No tents, fires, or pets are permitted. Alcohol is permitted on a BYOB basis in period containers.
Accessibility:
Entrances, walkways and restrooms are ADA compliant. However, there are only indoor stairs or outdoor walkways to travel between the two floors of the building. The venue staff will provide motorized transport, outdoors, from one entrance to the other as needed. Accessible parking is available by contacting the Event Steward. The event will have all-gender restrooms. Court will be amplified. Further details are available on the website.

The event is currently SOLD OUT.
Cost of the event is the cost of the feast, and the event is only open to those who have purchased the feast. There is a strict limit on occupancy and anyone not registered must be turned away.
Event Refunds
Refund requests must be received in writing (email is acceptable) no later than five (5) business days after the event. Feast refund will be provided if the feast spot was resold to another attendee.
General Activities
A&S:
In addition to the Feast itself, which is presented as an interactive A&S display, Highland Hearthglow will feature three A&S Display opportunities, and we welcome entries both in person and digitally! All participants, whether attending in person or submitting virtually, must register for each challenge by January 4, 2025. Participants submitting virtually must include their project materials, while those attending in person need only register their intent.
