All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. As the winter reaches its zenith a celebration is in order. However, "order" is not the nature of this celebration. Wander, meander, and take the scenic route to Dun Carrig to celebrate Baronial Birthday on Dec 10th. Don't rush while we greet old friends, and soon to be friends as we embark on an adventure to show that the real treasure was not the hoard of a dragon, but the friends that we made along the way. So pull up a table, spin a yarn, share your hospitality, enjoy the day as your heart desires, and don't forget your handkerchief on your way out the door!

FightingArmored Baronial Challenge Tournament Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Dun Carraig is in need of selecting a new Baronial Armored Champion. All are invited to test the combative skill of Dun Carraig fighters during a round robin tournament. The Baronial Champion will be selected from members of the Barony participating in the tournament. Rapier Baronial Challenge Tournament With a new year, comes a new Baronial Rapier Champion. All Rapier Fighters are invited to enter this round robin Challenge Tournament to test the steal of Dun Carraig Rapier fighters. The new Champion will be chosen from Dun Carraig Members entering the Challenge. Check out our website for times and more information.
Arts & Sciences:"Does your compass point true Norse?" Bardic Competition The Norse are known for their sagas. Tell a story/sing a song/write a poem using a Norse - ish form. “Three Degrees to the British Isles” Static Arts Competition Create an A&S piece that can be tied with 3 degrees to somewhere in the British Isles, extra points if the item can be tied to Wales. This competition is to find the next Dun Carraig Baronial A&S Champion. However, we welcome those who wander in from our neighboring lands to enter and indicate if they wish to be excluded from A&S Champion selection.
Feast:Mistress Rose of Black Diamond is preparing a the kind of feast you long for after a quest. Comfort food and merriment will be in ample supply.
