FightingThere will be armored and rapier tournaments from which Their Excellences will select champions. Those wishing to be considered for champion must provide their intent to compete to their Excellences (baron@tirydon.atlantia.sca.org or baroness@tirydon.atlantia.sca.org) at least one week prior to the event. Those warriors who are within our barony who are not competing for champion and those outside our lands are highly encouraged to participate in our melees. We wish to give those intent on becoming our champion ample opportunity to demonstrate their prowess on the field of battle. We also ask those who not engage on the field of battle to cheer and give honor to those who do battle before us.

Those who are interested in being considered for champion should submit a notice of intent to their excellencies at least one week prior to the competition.  All archers, both from Tir-y-Don and outside our lands, are encouraged to participate. In order to utilize the range, each archer must complete and pass the online Newport News Archery Range Safety course at least once a year.
