Marinus/Tir-y-Don Coronation Celebration

The Baronies of Marinus and Tir-y-Don are hosting a local celebration to honor the great reign of Their Majesties, as well as the ascent of Their Highnesses to the thrones of Atlantia. It will be a day geared towards returning to SCA activites.

There will be rapier and armored practice sessions with drills to get combatants reengaged with fighting. In honor of our Kingdom, there will be an Atlantia themed Arts and Sciences competition; as well as open A&S displays and classes.

This event will be free to attend, although donations will be accepted to offset the cost of the site. Pre-registration is required before 19 June, 2021. Registration information can be found on the website: https://www.baronyofmarinus.com/coronation.php

Note that all activities will be held in accordance with Atlantia"s Reopening Policy.

FightingArmored and rapier activities will be drills and practice. Make sure your body and gear are back in shape for when tournaments begin again.

Directions:
From Richmond and locations north, take 64-East towards Virginia Beach. Then take exit 284A to I-264 East. Take exit 20 to merge onto US-58 E/Laskin Rd. Proceed 1.6 miles. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will be on the right hand side. Additional parking is located behind the building. From locations west, take 58 east towards Virginia Beach to I- 264 E.
