Come Defend the Gates of Sudentorre! Join us to recreate the The Battle of Pavia, 1525. The battle of Pavia was the decisive battle of the First Hapsburg-Valois Italian War of 1521–26. This was a French defeat that saw Francis I captured and that permanently undermined the French position in Italy; however, by the end of the battle Francis I had secured control of the Duchy of Milan. Martial activities include Armored Melee Fighting using the Gate of Sudentorre, Fencing, Archery, Thrown Weapons, and Atlatl. There will also be A&S activities and merchants to peruse.
