Dragon's Fire II: Tribute for the Dragon
(2023-04-15 - Site opens at 8 AM & Closes at 9 PM)
Saint Georges

Last year, our friends and neighbors helped the folk of Saint Georges determine that our newest resident, Draong the dragon, has nought but the best of intentions toward the people of the Canton. But, while Draong is a noble, peaceful dragon, she IS a dragon, and dragons must be periodically appeased with the offering of tribute. What better day to offer tribute than April 15th? Come visit Saint Georges for a day full of fun! Whether you crave activities martial or artistic, there will be something to satisfy you; as well as games in the hall, a lunch presented by Magistra Etain, a Royal Court, a baronial court (perhaps less lit than last year), a pot-luck feast and Master Hagar will lead a bardic circle to finish the day!

FightingFeats of martial prowess are pleasing to Draong. Armored and Rapier combat will take place, and Thrown Weapons will be available for any who wish to try their skill.
Arts & Sciences:Artisans and scientists are encouraged to enter either or both of these broad categories for competition. Tribute for the Dragon-- dragons love shiny things, and Draong is no exception. Works in any medium using or depicting shiny materials or baubles, or representations thereof. This competition will be judged by populace vote. Treats for the Dragon--edible or drinkable offerings to please the discerning palate of a dragon (or anyone else). Please include list of ingredients. Their Majesties and Their Excellencies have graciously agreed to judge this competition. Documentation is encouraged but not required. Don"t feel like competing? Items for display only and works in progress are welcome.
Feast:Feast is pot-luck. Please bring a dish to feed 6 people. Please provide a list of ingredients. Saint Georges will provide water and lemonade.
Merchanting:Merchants welcome! Please contact the Event Steward to reserve your spot.
