Trial by Fire and Royal Archer (2021-10-01 - 2021-10-03) Bright Hills

With two major activities happening in one place, no one will want to miss a minute of this event! Trial by Fire, sponsored by the Bright Hills Cooks Guild, tests the skill and knowledge of the finest cooks in the Knowne World. With four categories, Main dish, Vegetable, Grains and Desserts, to choose from, our competitors must create a period recipe using only those methods that do not require electricity. What started out as a challenge within the Guild more than two decades ago is now open to both the populace of Atlantia and the rest of the Knowne World. The Royal Archer contest will feature many and varied stations for archers young, old, and in-between to test themselves and prove that they are worthy to become the next Atlantian Royal Archer. More information will be coming soon. There will prizes for both activities. And to top off a fine day they will be a feast!!

FightingArchery of Course! Prizes will include the title of Royal Atlantian Archery Champion for the overall winner of the shoot-off and the top-scoring shooter in each Royal Round Ranking. You will need a full quiver of arrows or bolts.

Arts & Sciences:Arts and Sciences AND Children's activities are still in the planning stage. Please check back later.

Feast: Lunch, prepared by the Bright Hills Cooks' Guild, will be available for a suggested donation of $5. Lunch will be a fundraiser for the Cooks' Guild.

Other:Camping has always been a part of events at the Bowman. While the camping fee is $5.00 per person 6-adult, no family will pay more than $20.00. As always, while we hope that the plague has eased up and we may once again gather together in person, the event will cancelled if mundane life has thrown us a few more virus-filled lemons.
