Dragon's Fire - A Celebration of St. George's Day
(2022-04-09 - Site opens at 8:00 AM & Closes at 8:00 PM)
Saint Georges

The people of the Canton of St. Georges fear the dreaded dragon has returned! Many of the usual signs are present- smoke rising in the west, large patches of scorched earth, and shadows fleetingly darken the face of the moon. Yet, the shepherds report that the livestock are all accounted for and no more do the wolves howl or peer at them from beyond the campfire's glow. Trade has also improved as the bandits have vanished from the roads, and the influx of ale and Italian pies to the tavern has raised the Canton folk's spirits and lessened their fears. Someone proposed that maybe not all dragons are bad, and now the seneschal has declared an inquiry to investigate if the Canton's newest, fire-breathing inhabitant is friend or foe. Please come help St. Georges determine whether this dragon's fire ought to be feared, and the dragon driven out, or if perhaps a more noble, peaceful dragon has taken up residence and should be allowed to stay. Join us for a full day of fun. There will be tournaments throughout the day for Armored and Rapier fighting, as well as Thrown Weapons.
