47th Tournament of Ymir - Defenders of Dubhlinn

Windmasters' Hill
The year is 1014 on the east coast of Eire (Ireland). Vikings rule the city-state of Dubhlinn under Sigtrygg Silkbeard, the Norse-Gael king, while Brian Boruma is High King of Ireland. Swearing to break the power of the Vikings in Eire, Brian has camped his armies on the plains outside of Dubhlinn, while Sigtrygg has forged an army inside the city with Viking hordes who flock to by way his call by sea.
While the Frost Giant Ymir"s icy breath holds sway over the lands, come join in tourney and battle! Perform heroic deeds in individual and grouped combat as the clash of two mighty forces will decide the fate of Viking and Gael in Eire forever! Dubhlinn is also a famous port of trade, hosting artists and artisans from far and near! Display your best artistic talents (Norse and Celtic a focus but not required).

| Fighting | Align yourself with the Norse or the Gaels in tourney and battle! As ever, the famous Tournament of Ymir will be held, along with melees a- plenty, rapier combat, thrown weapons and archery, and our beloved Baronages" Champions competitions. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Arts & Sciences: | The theme is Celtic versus Viking! There will be several categories to enter or bring your best creation for feedback only. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Feast: | A hearty and delicious Norse- Gael feast by Declan MacDockery will follow all Kingdom COVID requirements. Saturday brunch will be provided to all comers. See website for more details. | ||||||||||||||||||||
